About Us
Helping clients achieve their dreams by combining the highest levels of investment expertise and understanding with a client focused approach.
Our Story
Osprey Wealth has been created to help our clients to have better outcomes so that they are able to achieve their aspirations. After all, money is only a vehicle which enables you to do more of what you like to do and less of the things that you don’t enjoy.
We believe that there is a lot of value in helping you to align the use of your capital with what you feel is important to you. Rather than just seeing your money as a number or value, we want to help you to see your money in terms of how it can be put to work to improve your happiness and wellbeing. By helping clients to better visualise where they currently stand in terms of meeting their future goals and what is needed to get there, this makes it easier to stick to a financial plan as you are better able to see the benefits and peace of mind that this can give. It can also help to avoid panic when markets fall from time to time.
If we can help our clients to do this then we will be some way towards achieving what the company was created to do.
In addition, our ethical investment expertise enables you to not only achieve your goals but to do so in a way that can have a positive impact on the environment and society.

Ross Crake
Having had a number of roles at a variety of dfferent companies since joining the industry I have seen many different approaches and I decided to set up Osprey Wealth in an effort to bring everything I have learnt together into a single offering.

As a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (CISI) and a CFA charterholder, I hold some of the highest and most sought after qualifications that the industry has to offer. Having also completed various other qualifications such as the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Investment Management Certificate and Diploma in Financial Planning, I am highly qualified in both investment management and financial planning. Whilst studying with the CISI I also won the coveted Hoare Nairn Scholarship for my essay on “what is the difference, if it exists between investing and gambling”? although I accept that it was fortunate that the chosen subject was one I am happy talking at length about to anybody that will listen!
Despite having now achieved a high level of qualification and experience having been in the industry for well over a decade, I see continuous development as a key part of my role in a constantly changing industry and I plan to continue my education not just academically but also on wider issues as the role encompasses both financial and lifestyle considerations more and more over time.
When not working, I try to play golf where possible although this often ends in more frustration than enjoyment although I am happy to try to organise a round where time permits with anyone that also enjoys putting themselves through the mental torture that a round of golf entails!

Myriam Crake
I am excited to be a part of the company where the clients well-being and their future are the priority and I can really play a part in helping clients to achieve their dreams.

I grew up in Cyprus and later studied in the Netherlands, where I gained a degree in hospitality and hotel management. Having tried a few jobs in this industry which were not for me, I was at a bit of a cross-roads when my father asked me “what do you want to do and if there’s anywhere you can go, where would that be”? At that time, I had always wanted to come to England and I decided to buy a return ticket (in case things didn’t work out).
Initially, I worked for a staffing recruitment agency for four and five star hotels in London which I enjoyed but I felt that I had more to offer elsewhere. In 2008, I began a role job in an International IT Recruitment Company. I had some concern at first over whether it would work out as it was a male dominated industry, but this is where I also found my passion and talent which is talking and listening to people and helping them. Having progressed to a management role, after 11 years I decided it was time for me to leave and look for another adventure.
Being married to Ross, I was aware of his plans to start his own venture and the time seemed right to join him at Osprey Wealth from the outset as I feel that as a client focused company, my passion of listening to and helping clients will be of great use and my talents are complimentary to those that Ross has. With his qualifications and focus on the more technical side of the industry, I feel that my experience on the client servicing and operational side of things will help us to form a good team. Having been together for over 13 years, we know how to live with each other without too many issues and we are confident that we will also be able to transfer this to a work environment!
Currently, this industry is also a male dominated one but over time we hope that this will change and we plan for the company to play a part in this.
After 15 years, my return ticket to Cyprus remains unused and I consider this country my home having built a life here and I look forward to helping clients to build their own futures and achieve their goals.
